I've still been applying to jobs, with no offers yet. But, I got a call today at 4:57 telling me to call them back. I missed their call because I was about to take a nap with my depressed ass. It was from the department I interviewed with last week for the Analyst position. I tried calling her back, but I guess she had already went home for the day. I don't know but common sense tells me I didn't get the job. Who would call someone 3 minutes before it's time to go home to tell them they got a job? Just doesn't sound good to me. But, I'll get up at 8:00AM tomorrow and see. I'm praying real hard. I'll have a pretty good salary (not all that great anymore thanks to California's incompetent leaders), benefits, it's in a pretty good location, and a great 40 hour week. If I didn't get the job, I'm going to be real pissed. Who calls anymore to tell someone they didn't get the job? Send an email or letter!
I took my physical last week for the Transportation Security Officer job. I also applied to more airports. I'm definitely mobile and will move if I need to. It's just a waiting game now as I have completed all the major steps. YAY OR NAY!
I've also been applying to Correctional Officer jobs. I figure that's the only way I'm going to get a job. Do a job no one else wants to do. Wish me luck!
Lastly, I've been pretty depressed lately. My mother gave me some of my deceased grandmother's depression pills. I don't want it in my record that I needed them. Plus, it's not like I have insurance to pay for them anyway. I'm going to start taking them next week. I'm going to Reno next week and I'm going to get wasted. It says in big, bold letters not to drink. So, I'll have to wait a day later to start taking them. Hopefully, I won't need them if I get the Analyst job.
