Took my airport assessment yesterday and passed with flying colors. I have to do my medical on Thursday and after that I should be on the list to be hired at all the surrounding airports in Northern California. It's just a waiting game now.

I got denied for the Program Technician job in Arkansas. I also heard back about the Tax Compliance Officer job and pretty much got rank 2. So, I won't hold my breathe on that one. But all is not lost I've been referred for a few more jobs for the federal government:

I got a call from the FDIC for an internship and the lady hung up on my mom. I guess my mother sounded too "ethnic" for her. No minorities for the FDIC! Fuck the bitch, probably wouldn't want to work there anyway. Oh, but the job paid a few pennies short of $20 per hour!

I also got a call from the Census Bureau for a part time clerk job in Maryland, but of course had to turn it down because it was part time. Otherwise I would have given it consideration.

Lastly, I have an interview with the State for a job I could do with my eyes closed. Although, I'm trying to move away from IT, someone always tries to pull me back in. Maybe I should lie on my resume. It's for an Analyst position where I create .pdfs and do web design half the time. I'll take it of course if given to me, but I'd definitely find something else after a year or two. I hate pretty much anything to do with computers and I can't stand web design. I'll try and wow them at my interview. Can't wait to see their faces when a Black chick walks in. Cracks me up every time!
