Long time no see...

I've officially been unemployed for two years and one month. Ideally I would like to work for the government, so that's what I've been focusing on, but I apply widely. I have no idea how many jobs I've applied to but it has got to be over 10,000. I've even started looking into apprenticeships. I'm scheduled to take the Linewoman test with SMUD this month. I will go to the carpenter, electrician, and plumbing tests soon too. I'm only looking into professions where I can start my own business if possible.

I also started looking into becoming a certified math teacher. I at least could get some help in repaying my student loans and get paid while completing my program, but I don't know if I can hold out for five years. I hate kids! But, I think I would really love being a math teacher if I could teach some great kids.

Anyhoo, if it wasn't for my parents, I would be homeless! You better believe whenever I do get a job, I will help them out whenever I can. My parents are the best and I wouldn't change them for the world.
